To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this reference letter on behalf of Tim Mattis of Ensearch Management Consultants. I used Tim as my recruiter when looking for my first neonatal nurse practitioner job, and I was very pleased with the success of my job search. Tim was very knowledgeable in the area and about different hospitals all over the country. He helped me refine my search tactics and helped me decide what characteristics in a job would be most helpful to me in my first NNP role. Tim has contacts and good relationships with neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners all over the country, which was something that proved useful to me since my search was not limited to a specific area. Tim was most professional at all times and was always willing to provide the necessary guidance during critical times, such as when it came time to make a career decision. I would highly recommend using him as your recruiter for a career in the field of neonatal nursing.

Sincerely,
Lane Douglass, RNC, MSN, NNP

I wonder why any neonatal professional would relocate without ENSEARCH. I have had the pleasure of working with the team at ENSEARCH on two occasions. In both instances, I had a team of knowledgeable professionals on my side who presented my CV to programs that fit my needs, skills, and life style requirements. This allowed me to maximize my search for the best position, without burdening my time evaluating programs that would not be a fit. Each member of the ENSEARCH team made themselves available to me, took the effort to get to know my needs, were always professional, and most importantly, respectful of the work we do with our NICU families.

Talking with the professionals at ENSEARCH felt like I was talking to a trusted co-worker who would never lead me in a wrong direction. I always knew that I could ask hard questions and get honest answers. The sense of security this offers a NICU professional during a job search is incredible.

Because of the groundwork that ENSEARCH lays, you can interview, evaluate programs and offers so you can make decisions with knowledge, and security. ENSEARCH knows what it takes to work in the NICU. They know what a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner does. ENSEARCH uses their knowledge of the many neonatal programs to ensure that both the program and the practitioner are winners.

The following is a brief note to tell you that I have known Eric for several years. I can state unequivocally and with knowledge that he is a true professional. I have found him to be honest, discreet, responsive and knowledgeable. The thing that I appreciate most about him is that he has always put my best interest and my wishes and desires in front of everything else. He has always responded appropriately, whether to a simple question or the more serious matter of "what opportunities are currently available" or "I am looking for a specific opportunity."

Eric is supported by the finest organization in their field. It takes only a few minutes to discover that this is indeed the case by going on-line and searching for an available position. The name ENSEARCH will be in the search results in an exponential rate compared to anyone else. The scope of their contacts and the reach of their reputation far surpassed anyone else.

With pleasure, I recommend Eric to all who desire professionalism and results. If you want to work with someone who will treat you as a friend with your best interest coming first then you will not find a better choice than Eric Shiffman.

Dearest Ensearch,

How do I begin to explain the great life you have given me?

Last December I received a Christmas card from Holly at Ensearch. Prior to Christmas I had been receiving the e-mails from my college and I kept pondering the fact I needed to call someone for help in finding a JOB! Shortly after Christmas I did call and speak with Holly about when the appropriate time would be to begin my search. She put me in touch with Tim and he encouraged me to get started. Against my time constrains I sent my resume to Tim. I was secretly thinking "I just don't have time for this and I will put him off until …who knows when". Tim did call with a list of places interested in my background. I tried to put him off but his commitment to finding me the perfect place kept me engaged in the process. He asked all the right questions to make a "perfect geographical fit" for my family. With each telephone interview he set the stage and created a planned event suited for my busy schedule. Prior to traveling to my interview, he prepared me for questions and problems that might arise. Although planned

well in advance, on the plane a scratchy throat and cough began. When I arrived I wasn't feeling well. I apologized to my interviewing group and kept the schedule. I felt the trip was a disaster. When I contacted Tim to tell him my concern and how much I liked this hospital, he was calming and called me back with the news that despite my horrible cough they liked me too. An offer was made and accepted by myself and my family.

I know that even though I didn't talk to the whole team, they were all involved in my process; thank you. A special thanks to Holly and Tim. I recommend Ensearch to all those who will listen.

Sincerely,

Carolyn

Making a major decision in your life can be stressful. Changing employers was something I felt necessary, but honestly unavailable for the groundwork. Eric at ENSEARCH was my lifesaver. After our first conversation he was armed with my information and went on his quest for a match.

I could not have wanted things to go differently. Eric kept me informed of which hospitals/units met my needs and all the necessary bits about them to ease my choice. His contacts through the interviewing were a nice reassurance and support.

I would most certainly encourage anyone who is job-hunting to utilize the services of ENSEARCH. The decision to change can be tough; let ENSEARCH make this experience a pleasure.

Dear Tim, Eric, and Kim:
I would like to thank each of you for your assistance and perseverance in my quest to find the “perfect” job. Despite many hours on the telephone and numerous emails, you maintained patience and understanding during the job-hunting process.  From day one, you answered my phone calls and emails promptly and always approached me with kindness and professionalism.  After scheduling a job interview, you helped to make travel arrangements, prepped me for the interview, and over-all helped me stay organized.  I am certain that working with ENSEARCH led to a timely job offer.
I ultimately elected to not accept the job that I was offered through ENSEARCH, but my decision in no way reflects my appreciation of your team or my respect for the help that I received from each of you.  I have worked with other services similar to ENSEARCH in the past, but ENSEARCH widely surpasses them in   personal interaction, timeliness, follow-up, and over-all organization.
You are a top-notch team and I will certainly recommend your services to my colleagues.
If I find myself in need of a job in the future, I will definitely call ENSEARCH.
Sincerely,

Tracy E. Adams, CRNP

To Whom it May Concern:

I wish to take the opportunity to acknowledge “ENSEARCH” as the quintessential recruitment corporation for Advanced Practice Neonatal and Pediatric Nurses seeking new opportunities for employment.

I was recently in the position of  “job seeker” with over 25 years experience in NICU.  I knew what I was looking for and considered myself a rather discriminating candidate.   However, after talking with Tim Mattis, I felt that he had a better perspective on my job “match” than I did!  And he was as passionate as I was in finding my best fit!  Not something I had calculated into the equation of a recruitment corporation.

Over the next few weeks I had the opportunity to speak with Eric Shiffman and Tim Scally, also recruiters, but for different demographic locations.   Indeed, they shared the same conviction and ethics in helping me to identify my best employment fit(s) based on my goals and experiences.   There were no “sales pitches” window-dressed with perfunctory caveats so as to close a quick placement and commission.

Certainly my experience with the professional staff left me bewildered and in awe.  I looked for every opportunity to find cracks in their facade.  Yet I continued to be delightfully pleased, from my dealings with the professional staff, to my contact with the administrative personnel, Barbra and Sarah.  They were consistently courteous, professional, and sometimes just downright “good listeners” and empathetic.  Always respectful of my questions or concerns, demonstrating an attitude of diligence and commitment to meeting my ultimate goal of finding that “perfect job.”

Fast-forward to two-and-a-half-months later, and yes, we have indeed identified and are in the last steps of securing a position that I could have only dreamed of without the assistance of ENSEARCH.   Throughout this whole process, Tim, and all of the ENSEARCH staff have continued to exceed my expectations.  For this, I feel very grateful and fortunate.

What is the ENSEARCH difference?  I think integrity, commitment, ethics, and the ability to have a great sense of humor!!!!!

Thank you all beyond words!!!

Sincere Regards,

Robin L. Benn, RN, MSN, NNP-BC, CNS, PHN, CLNC

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing a letter of recommendation based on my experience, in behalf of Tim Mattis and ENSEARCH Management Consultants.  I used ENSEARCH for assistance in relocating back to my home state Florida from North Carolina.  Tim Mattis was assigned to my case.  He offered me the hospitals in which he has contact with and assisted me in gaining information on each hospital.  Very efficiently he got me in contact with the personnel available for my questions on each facility and assisted me in setting up interviews.  Tim always stayed in contact with me via email or phone providing me with updates and making sure that any “loose ends” were “wrapped up”.  He is honest about what is possible for salary based on cost of living and what can and can not be negotiated to have the best possible outcome for the candidate.  He is very knowledgeable in the area of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners in their job description and what value they are to the health system.  He was very informative of statistics in the different salary ranges per state.  If there was a question he was unsure of the answer, he would investigate and return with an answer in a very timely manner.  I highly recommend Tim Mattis in assisting candidates in job placements suited individually for them.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

I am writing to express my profound thanks and gratitude for your assistance and guidance in securing my first position as a neonatal nurse practitioner.  I cannot believe what an impact you and your company have had on my life and my career.  A few short months ago I would have never imagined that I would be on the brink of beginning my new career at a world renowned hospital and teaching facility where I feel I am welcomed and at home.

When you say that candidates are given individualized attention and not treated like a number, you truly mean it.  I was devastated after I interviewed for a position that I thought was “perfect” and did not receive an offer. You were amazingly supportive and through your help and guidance I was able to discern exactly what I wanted and needed in my first job.  You led me to opportunities that matched, helped prepare me for the interviews, and I was able to interview successfully at four highly regarded facilities and received offers from all of them. With your assistance I was then able to weigh the individual strengths of each offer to find the best fit for me.  I couldn’t have done it without you.

Everyone at ENSEARCH has been wonderful to deal with and a joy to work with. I appreciate the kindness I was always shown from Eric, Barbara and Kim, in addition to you. You and your team were always available and I knew that I could call at anytime and have questions or concerns addressed.  Beginning a new career is always stressful, but you and everyone at ENSEARCH helped pave the road and ease my transition to a new life and career. What you have helped me achieve will never be forgotten.

I am forever grateful and highly recommend ENSEARCH to any one that is searching for a NNP position.  No other company can match the service and reputation of ENSEARCH!

With deepest gratitude and thanks,

Karen Dittman, RNC, MSN, NNPc

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter on behalf of Tim Mattis and ENSEARCH Management Consultants.  I have known Tim for some time now.  Tim spoke with me on many occasions regarding Locum work, as he was aware I was employed full-time elsewhere.  I finally decided to take him up on his offer.

From the moment I decided to travel with ENSEARCH, Tim literally took the reins and guided me through the whole process.  From the licensing process to my arrival at the hospital, Tim was with me all the way to assure that everything was going well and as planned. He made me feel very safe and secure in what I was about to adventure into.

ENSEARCH is truly a “Management Consultant” company.  They respected my role as a professional, are very aware of the needs hospitals may have and are very competent in placing Nurse Practitioners in safe working environments.  They are well aware of the guidelines and regulations we are governed by, know exactly how to obtain the necessary information from paperwork to following the individual hospital’s credentials process.

Working with ENSEARCH has been a very rewarding experience both professionally and personally.  I have had the opportunity to learn different hospital ways of practicing medicine and caring for the different levels of neonates.  I have also had the pleasure of meeting some of the nicest people across the United States.

I believe ENSEARCH Management Consultants truly care about their employees and not just the almighty dollar.  They care about the hospitals they find Nurse Practitioners for and attempt to have the meeting of the two a positive experience promoting quality relationships as well as quality care to our special patients. Tim also made it a point to call me after my arrival home to follow up on the entire experience.  Anyone, who chooses to be affiliated with ENSEARCH regardless of what position, will be very satisfied with the services they provide and impressed with their professionalism and competency.

Sincerely,

Karen Fennell, CNNP

Tim and everyone at ENSEARCH,

Thank-you for all your hard work. Being a Nurse Practitioner has given me a lot of opportunities, but ENSEARCH definitely helped maximize those opportunities. I was looking a change in the way nurse practitioners were utilized and also being part of the whole NICU where I practiced not just NNP du jour!

I wasn't looking forward to relocating again or interviewing different hospitals. Tim Mattis took the time to listen to what I was looking from the setting where I will practice and to the type of location my husband and I want to be live.

ENSEARCH's team made the initial contacts and set up the phone interviews. The web site offered information on prospective locations and more links.

Every time I called ENSEARCH I actually talked to someone...a real person. Laura I remember most, always with a smile in her voice. Tim and Norm always returned calls and even "checked up" to make sure I had someone to vent to and answer questions I had after interviews.

Moving is a lot of energy, and ENSEARCH can't change that, but having someone to help me along the way sure made a difference.

I want to thank you for the very professional service you and your associates provided to me during this search for a new position.

When changing jobs in the past, I have always done everything on my own.  The old saying is "Had I known then what I do now" and that is certainly the case with this situation.  When I think about how much easier it would have been to have you in my corner taking care of the details and coaching me through the process, I know I have learned a valuable lesson.

Thanks again.  If I, or any of my colleagues, are ever looking for a new position, ENSEARCH will be my first thought.

Mr. Hu Debo

Thank you so much for all of your assistance in finding my dream job. I have used NNP recruiters before but I never had the service ENSEARCH provided. I was very impressed with your initial evaluation. The in-depth questions you asked really gave me a comprehensive perspective about what it was I was looking for. You were then able to research practices to find the best matches for me to choose from.

From the initial contact with each group to the interview to the follow up, you kept me updated at every step. I appreciated the discussions on interview techniques; strategies with how to refuse positions while keeping the option open should my situation change, and negotiating contracts. This insight was invaluable and I felt the strategies helped professionalize my interactions with prospective employers.

During the recruiting process, I expected services related to resumes, interviews, and negotiating contracts but I did not expect assistance with relocation. Setting up an appointment with a local real estate agent and names of reliable mortgage brokers were not services I was expecting but was happy to accept. On ENSEARCH’s webpage there is the relocation tool that also provided us with excellent information about each potential relocation area.

Again thank you so much for the time and effort spent to find me just the right job for me. I am very excited about this opportunity that I would not have found without ENSEARCH’s assistance. I will recommend your services highly to any NNP searching for new job opportunities. I know you will provide them with the same high quality attention you provided me.

Sincerely,

Davita Mitchell

I am writing this letter in recommendation of Tim Mattis and the staff at Ensearch Management.  Beginning my job search was a frightening and exciting adventure.  Where to begin and who to contact were just a few of the questions that came to mind at the close of the school year.  After speaking to various professors and fellow nurse practitioner students it seemed the answer to my job uncertainty was Ensearch.  Working with Ensearch was a great experience; the staff was helpful, encouraging, considerate and supportive.  I would recommend Ensearch to any Nurse Practitioner Student beginning their job search.

Sincerely,

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

Tim,

I wanted to thank you for all the time and effort that you put forth on my behalf. Having been a nurse throughout my career, I have had little opportunity to learn about the business of finding a job. From the beginning you spent time with me exploring all the available options. You helped me prioritize the attributes of a position that were most important to me. You took the time to find out all the pertinent information available in order to help me make the right decision. You even continued your efforts when it became apparent that the best offer for me would probably come from a hospital that was not one of your clients.

Although I was concerned in the beginning that being on opposite sides of the country would impair communications between us, or between you and the hospitals that I was considering, this proved not to be the case. You were available to talk with me as much as I needed to talk, and were always ready with feedback from the hospitals.

It is rare to find a person who invests their time in truly getting to know another in order to assist them, especially if there is no financial incentive to do so. I appreciate your effort, thoughtfulness, and guidance and will recommend you to any friend or colleague who is either looking for a position or a candidate. Please feel free to use this letter of thanks as a letter of recommendation to those who may be considering your services. You can be sure that if in the future I am in need of professional assistance, you will be the first person that I call.

Stephanie

Tim,
I want to thank you personally for your help in my recent job search.
They say timing is everything, and it sure is. I am so glad that I am on your e-mail list for job postings.
So many times when you use a third party source, you run into organizations that just connect you to a potential employer, and then you are on your own.
Not so with you.
Not only did you connect me with the proper people to talk with; you guided me in how to present myself, gave me your insight on situations, and also how to deal with them.
I felt from the beginning that you were there for me; and that you represented me. You always checked to make sure that we were both on the same page, and that what you were presenting was what I meant. You never assumed anything. You also listened to what I had to say. The saying “two minds are better than one” truly is the case.
Communication is very important to me – and in that you excelled. Between all of the e-mails, and the phone calls, I always felt like I knew exactly what was going on as it was ongoing. You kept in contact with me, even if it was to say that you were waiting for a reply. That eased my mind, and made me feel comfortable with the whole process. When I had a question for you, the answer was immediate, or within a very short amount of time. I always felt like I could contact you to find out information. In fact, I felt like I was your only client and that you were there just for me. I do know that this is not even close to the case, but that is how you made me feel. The personal touch gave me the confidence to trust your judgment completely.
Your professionalism, along with your ability to make me feel at ease, will always stand out in my mind as two of the characteristics that make you unique.
Because of how I was treated, and how my job search handled, I would gladly recommend you to anyone that was in need of your services.
I am sure we will see each other in the future, probably at a conference or two.

Thank you again for everything,
Sincerely,

Theresa Strong, ARNP

Tim Mattis and the Ensearch team were extremely helpful when I contacted them regarding NNP positions in Florida.  Tim sent my CV out to multiple prospective employers within days of my call and kept me informed.  He provided me with sound professional advice before, during and after the interview process.  He mediated my contract negotiations, helping me to obtain a very nice agreement with my new employer.  I would recommend Tim and his team to any NP in search of new employment.  --- Roberta Weber CNNP

To whom it may concern,
This is a commendation to Tim Mattis of ENSEARCH, who has provided me an invaluable opportunity as I embark on a new career as a nurse practitioner.  Being a new grad, finding your first job can be difficult as majority of the hospitals are looking for experienced candidates.  But Tim, with his proven integrity and excellent relationship with his clients, he was able to pave way for me to find a perfect job at a renowned Magnet-designated children’s hospital.
I am very impressed how Tim managed my application from start to finish.  He took time to get to know me and listened to my specific needs, making a point to care for all of my concerns.  He remained honest and professional at all times.  He explained to me what to expect and guided me in every step of the way, without demeaning my capabilities.  He kept me updated on the progress of my candidacy regularly and answered my phone calls and emails promptly.  He maintained an open and honest communication with me.
As I am making a transition in my career, he remains actively involved, providing me invaluable resources to make the process go smoothly.
If I have to do it all over again, I would definitely work with Tim again.

En Search of a New Job

I have been at my new position at Baylor NICU for a little over a month.  It seems impossible to me now that I only started looking for a new position in mid January.  I had been in the job market approximately a year ago after moving to Houston with my husband for a job transfer, at that time I had very poor response to my numerous resumes.  Although I had 15 years of experience as a PNP, it did not seem to increase my chances in the job market.  I accepted a position in a clinic; which met some of my needs, but certainly wasn’t a perfect fit.  At that point I resolved that I had been in the same position for 15 years in a job I loved and probably was unrealistic about my expectations when I moved.

This year when I began looking I came across an ad on the internet that described a new position at Baylor that did seem perfect for me.  I responded to Jana who took some initial information, did some additional information gathering and then let me decide when I was ready to send my resume.  She was attentive but not overbearing which I greatly appreciated.  Once I made up my mind all I had to do was answer the phone.  Jana and Norm set up a phone interview to minimize my travel.  When there was equal interest by both parties Jana and Norm worked with Baylor to set up travel and accommodations for my on site interview and for house hunting.  Jana and Norm spent time with me giving me good background information about Baylor so that I was prepared for my interview and gave me guidance on the atmosphere of the facility and expectations in the way of dress and presentation of myself.  This information was relayed very professionally and everything they gave in the way of  “words of wisdom”  was ultimately very useful.

Throughout our frequent contacts they also took the time to learn about my family and me.  I really felt like they were as interested in me being in the right place for me, as well as their client getting the right person for the job.
I took the position and have been delighted with my decision.  The environment was well represented to me, all the benefits and salary information was presented to me correctly from the beginning; there have been no surprises.

Looking back to my experience last year I am the same PNP with a very nice resume, but I did not know how to market myself.  I am very appreciative to ENSEARCH and the staff for their knowledge and expertise.  I also feel that I tripped into an exceptional recruiting agency as I have discussed my experience with others who have used “headhunters.”  There is a very personal touch with this group that did not end when I signed on the dotted line. Should I ever need to recommend or utilize recruiting services there is no doubt where my loyalty lies!!!

Dear Tim,
I just wanted to thank you for all of the help that you gave to me in my pursuit of a job as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. I have to say that I think it was fate that put me in touch with you at first. Once I found out that the job listed on your website was at the hospital I had wanted to work at, I knew that this was true. To begin with, I was very apprehensive about the whole process, but with your guidance and expertise it became much easier. I especially appreciated your interview tips, and the way you have kept in touch to make sure that things are still going well.
Now that I have passed my boards, the rest is up to me. I am still trying to work my way through a myriad of paperwork, but I am getting closer to my final goal. If you need a recommendation at any time in the future, feel free to contact me. I will be happy to let others know how hard you worked for me, and that the end results were exactly what I had wanted. My best wishes to you and your family.
Thanks again for making what could have been a complicated process seem like a breeze.
Yours truly,

To Whom It May Concern:

When searching for a neonatal nurse practitioner position in the Washington, D.C. area, I decided, for multiple reasons, that it would be to my best advantage to utilize the services of a recruiter. Because I would be moving from southwest Georgia to Washington, D.C., having the input of someone who was familiar with the area and the hospitals in the area was very appealing to me. I met and exchanged contact information with Tim Mattis, a recruiter with ENSEARCH, at the Florida Association of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners annual conference. I had a positive feeling about Tim from the start. I also had heard very positive things about Tim and ENSEARCH from a neonatal nurse practitioner I was currently working with and from the director of my NNP program at the University of Florida.

Tim began contacting me shortly after the conference to try to nail down exactly what area around D.C. I was looking to move to. He was never pushy and was always patient. Tim helped me with the footwork of finding a position, making the experience much less stressful. It was obvious when talking to the director of neonatology from the facility that hired me that Tim had a very positive and respectful relationship with her. Tim really laid the groundwork for me and made the interviewing process stress-free and painless.

I strongly recommend using ENSEARCH (and specifically working with Tim Mattis) to anyone searching for a neonatal nurse practitioner position, especially if he or she is planning to move to an unfamiliar area. It has been a truly positive experience!

Sincerely,

Jill Howell, (soon to be) NNP

To Whom It May Concern:

This letter of recommendation is for Tim Mattis, principal for Ensearch Management Consultants.

I have worked with Tim and his company for ten years. He has placed me in several temporary and permanent positions as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. His clients include individual NNP professionals as well as client hospitals and private physician groups.

Tim understands intuitively the unique employment needs of NNPs yet makes no assumptions about an individual’s career plans. He maintains communication with his NNP clients on a consistent basis whether or not they are actively looking for work. More importantly, he takes the time to get to know us.

At the same time, he respects the needs of both NNPs and employers and so is selective in presenting potential employers to NNPs as well as presenting candidates to prospective employers. His first priority is finding the best fit for everyone, even at his own expense.

Tim conducts his business with integrity, and that is perhaps the biggest reason I have entrusted my career to him and to Ensearch. He has always had my best interests at heart and has been my voice of reason. He maintains confidentiality and I consider him a trusted advisor. Everyone on his staff is very cordial as well. I always feel as though I am their only client. I highly recommend him as your NNP recruiter.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

Denise LaPlaca, MSN, MHA, NNP-BC

To All Interested Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and Professionals,

I met Tim Mattis at a Florida Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Conference.  He was one of the many vendors attending this conference also.  When I approached Tim’s display table, he asked me if I would be interested in having him contact me regarding some job opportunities when I was closing in on graduation.  I had not begun sending out my resume or interviewing yet, so I was intrigued by his offer. He appeared genuine and not overly pushy.

In February of the semester that I was graduating Tim contacted me.  He spoke with me in detail inquiring what I would like to have in my “dream job”.  A couple of weeks later he contacted me with some opportunities he had found that met my requirements.  Every time we were finished with our phone conversation he would make an appointment with me, for our next phone call.  This was very helpful, because I never had to wonder when or if he was going to follow-up on what we had discussed.

Prior to my first interview, Tim coached me, and gave me some suggestions on things to think about.  He always made the point to remind me, that I was making a decision that was right for myself and my family.  We I interviewed at different sites, he contacted some of the other practitioners at these sites to ask them questions about what they liked or disliked about their jobs.  He would share these thoughts with me so that I could ask particular questions regarding these concerns.  I never felt like I went into any interview situation “cold.”  I felt that Tim had appropriately prepared me for the situation.

He also did all of the salary and benefits negotiations.  Having not been in this role before, Tim knew what I was looking for and what the market would bear.  While interviewing, one of the neonatology directors told me that I should be very happy with the representation that I had, because Tim was really looking out for my interests.

I did not end up taking one of the jobs that Tim had arranged interviews for me, but I feel that I made the best choice for myself and my family.  Tim helped me along the way, not only to figure out what I was looking for, but supporting the choice I made.  All and all, you can feel very much assured that Tim will help you to make a decision that is right for you.

Sincerely,

Karen McDonald MSN, RNC, NNP

As an NNP student planning for my first position after graduation, I was unsure of where I wanted to begin my career.  I phoned Tim Mattis and Ensearch for assistance with my search. Tim Mattis has been an incredible help.  He listened carefully to what my wishes were, both professionally and personally, and found me a wonderful job in an area of the U.S. we love.  It’s not easy to trust your future to someone you don’t know and have never met in person. I hope to keep in touch with Tim now that my search has ended, and I highly recommend him.  If I am ever in need of a new job, I will contact Tim.

I want to use this opportunity to thank the ENSEARCH agency for being so supportive of the NNPs and the hospitals they represent.

The staff members that I had the opportunity to interact with are so professional, polite and they treat you with the utmost respect.

For a new grad, looking for a job in a new area is not only scary but stressful. I remember the first time I spoke with Tim Mattis. I was very cautious because I had recently spoken with people from other agencies that appeared polite but never really bothered to call me back.

Tim was very professional but had a personal touch that quickly put me at ease. I found him to be very sincere, honest, responsive and full of integrity.

When Tim talks with you, you can feel the genuine interest he has for your welfare as a person. He takes the time to find out your personality type, your needs, skills, and your family needs. This knowledge guides him in placing you in the utmost environment that will both benefit and make you comfortable.

Another thing that makes for a trusting relationship is timely updates and feedback. Tim gets back to you in a very timely manner and makes sure there are no surprises for you. When I went for my interview, I felt so well equipped and secure. He boosted my morale and made me feel very important.

I would definitely recommend Tim Mattis to any NNP seeking placement anywhere, especially new grads.

To Whom It May Concern:

I have had the pleasure of working with Mr. Mattis recently in securing my first job as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.  He has proven to be an invaluable resource and person of high character throughout this process.

During our initial conversations, Mr. Mattis patiently gathered information about what types of employment would satisfy me most and listened to my concerns in order to avoid linking me to an ill-fitting position.  Consequently, he was able to secure an exciting job opportunity for me in a timely manner.

Mr. Mattis has continued to impress me with his depth of NNP and hospital contacts; he possesses intricate knowledge of the dynamics and interpersonal relationships found within a multitude of NICUs in the United States.  He is also well-versed in the often arduous processes of licensing, certification, and credentialing, and has provided support at every step of the way.

In addition to his demonstrated competence, Mr. Mattis is organized, efficient, and conveys outstanding interpersonal rapport.  I would highly recommend enlisting his assistance in obtaining any NNP position.

Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Thank you,
Amy L. Reed

To Whom It May Concern:

After graduating and obtaining my neonatal nurse practitioner license early this year, I was slightly overwhelmed on how I was going to make that transition from being a nurse to a NNP.  I was concerned on how I was going to find a job in the hospital and location I wanted.  However, Tim Mattis from Ensearch took me under his wing and helped me with my job search.  Even though I was inexperienced as a new graduate, Tim went above and beyond to show that I was a qualified applicant.  For example, after being told I needed more experience at one site, Tim helped me prepare a list of references and asked the head NNP to give me a telephone interview.  In the end, I was flown out for a formal interview and was immediately given an offer to join their team.  Although I decided not to accept the position and ended up moving to another city, I greatly appreciate everything Tim and Ensearch did for me during this time in my life.  I may be working in a different unit now but feel like I can always coung on Tim if I need any assistance or contacts in the future.

Again, I want to give a special thanks to Tim Mattis and recommend him and his team to all new graduates in search of their first NNP job.

Sincerely,

Jamie Wegner, NNP

Dear Tim,

I am a very loyal person and considering changing my place of employment initially appeared to be an insurmountable task.  I thought that I was happy where I was, just dissatisfied with my current pay.  Now that this process is coming to a close and I am starting a new adventure in my life, I cannot help but reminisce how this experience has caused me to reevaluate so many areas of my life. Where I live, how I am paid, my benefits, my role in the NICU, the hours that I work and am away from my family, my commute, the professional and political milieu of the workplace; We often travel through life without taking the time and energy to critically examine these issues.

As this next chapter in my life begins, I gratefully and sincerely say that I could not have traveled to the place I am now without your expertise.  Thank you for helping me to realize the potential that I have, for helping me to realize my true marketability, for helping me come to so many conclusions about where I am in my life and where I want to be in the future.  In these past months you have become a confidante and a friend. You are truly an expert in your field, and your counsel and guidance have brought me to a better understanding of not only my career aspirations, but my life goals as well.

When you and I initially talked, you said that you recommend that those of us in such a sought after field “re-choose” their current employer every 5 years.  To my colleagues, I would recommend to travel this road even if it leads back to where you started.  I feel confident recommending ENSEARCH because I know that your expertise, along with the helpful ENSEARCH team, helped my travel down this road to be the most worthwhile and enlightening experience of my career.

Sincerely,

Jennifer L. Wilson, M.S., C.R.N.P.
